Why?

Why audit invoices; UPA has discovered that over 10% of all electricity and gas invoices issued to businesses contain mistakes.

UPA are the experts in utilities auditing, using one of the most advanced auditing systems available. The auditing falls into two categories:

Meters with Communications

For supplies that have meters with a communication link the system can collect data
from meters on a daily basis, then either at the month end or other period end automatically calculate the invoice.

This allows an accurate bill forecast before you receive your suppliers invoice.

A Copy invoice from your supplier is compared to the UPA calculated invoice and if no discrepancies are found is approved subject to the data being validated by comparing
the usage and costs with the budget invoice created by the UPA procurement system.

Meters without Communications

For supplies that have meters without a communication link the system will calculate invoices using either supplier or customer reads.

The invoices from suppliers are compared to the UPA calculated invoices and the budget invoices created by the UPA on-line tendering and approved subject to no discrepancies.
