New Connections
UPA will arrange the installation and connection of new supplies and for all
non-statutory supplies and arrange for competitive tenders from competing third party connection companies. We will also arrange for the installation of appropriate metering
and supply contracts.
UPA will undertake analysis based load evaluation using priority development Building Analysis software. This is critical with respect to diversity and cost of supply.
The analysis will also take in to account the Tariff benefits of High or Low Voltage connections
Utility Distribution Companies have now withdrawn the Tariff Support element for
all new and upgraded supplies. This means that the customer now has to pay the
full cost of any scheme.
It is therefore critical to ascertain with accuracy the load requirements with respect to additional or new electrical, gas or water supplies as this has a direct effect upon the capital and long-term costs of the supply.
Increase/Reductions in Capacity
UPA will arrange increase supplies to your site, or to generate cost savings by reducing supply capacity.
